Sunday 22 January 2012: The Missing Parsnips
All summer our garden has looked overgrown with parsnips.
But, the key to parsnips is a decent frost or two, so we left them...
and left them
the winter has been so mild that yesterday we saw daffodils.
I was thinking about the daffodils today and the few frost we have had, when I suddenly remembered about my parsnips.
They had been completely forgotten until now.
And they taste great!
Yum yum yum.
