The 2009 'No Hot Ashes' scandal
began when Natasha Burns (16)
fluttered her false lashes
and said that what she could do
with a lighted candle
was nobody's business
but she wasn't about
to show us now.
And with that
she threw it, still lit,
into the nearest wheelie bin.
The one that had
the unused fireworks
and the petrol can in.
