Crossing borders and shooting on the move

A day of crossing borders from Argentina back into Chile meant that my blip opportunities would be restricted to shooting on the move from the window of the 2nd last row on the bus.

We set off early from Mendoza and the old, Andesmar bus slowly but surely chugged its way through the Andes via a spectacular mountain pass called Paso Internacional Los Libertadores at about 3,500 metres above sea level.

Customs at the border consisted of receiving of one queue for your Argentinian exit stamp and then one metre to the left a second queue for your Chilean entry stamp.

Then onto the main event with the downhill journey into Chile with a series of amazing switchbacks. This shot shows the tiny trucks and cars at the bottom.
