Armageddon

So, come yesterday evening, midnight, after a building crescendo in the afternoon (6pm onwards), came the last hour of Fireworks.

It was just about the most amazing thing I think I've ever seen, the whole of Beijing was alight with fireworks...I'd say that every person in Beijing was letting off fireworks last night.
