Monday 23 January 2012: Normal Service Will Resume Tomorrow
I hope!! I have back-blipped for the past two days as the internet in the house has not been working, so I am doing this in an internet cafe in town..... there's dedication for you!
Had to grab a quick shot in the garden as I was jumping into the car to come to town and chose this flower.... Immy is sitting beside me and told me to fiddle around with the colour - which was a really eye-splitting magenta - and she has approved this reduced-saturation version because she says it looks 'cool and watery'. We have just been to buy her school uniform for her new school. She's not at all impressed.... the blouse looks rather baggy on her and the plaid skirt is very long, though we can take that up. Immy said "I look like a five-year-old wearing Daddy's shirt!" to which the shop assistant replied "Well, they are built for curves, darlin'. All I can suggest is that you put some meat on, eh?" !!
The tenants in our house in town moved out this morning, so Jonathan and Lynley, who are moving in on Wednesday, came along to have a look round. Lynley has never actually seen inside the house so I was hoping she was not going to be disappointed. Luckily, she seemed delighted with it so they are all set for the big move on Wednesday. Alexander and Simone were enchanted with the Wendy house in the garden and in fact there were tears upon leaving, so we had to tell Alexander that he could come back to 'MY house' as he was calling it, in a couple of days.... to stay "forever"!
