Monday 23 January 2012: Original street art
Emergency blip today as know I won't be able to post anything else. However, for me as a Londoner the amazing architecture of Glasgow is always worth gazing at with or without a camera.
I came across this street in Partick that has perfectly preserved (or perhaps restored) Ornamental Cast Iron Railings, with the unusual feature of guarding the front doors only (perhaps the rest of the railings were taken away at some point?). These are found all over the City and have various designs but a lot were destroyed in WWII.
Thanks for messages over the last few days I will do my best to catch up in the next day or so :-))
