Monday 23 January 2012: Crocuses on The Meadows
Every year there is usually a wonderful display of crocuses along Melville Drive, the busy road which cuts through The Meadows. I've been looking out for these and spotted a few early flowers at the west end of Melville Drive this afternoon. They are a sure sign that spring is at last on its way. I look forward to seeing more on my cycle to work in the coming weeks.
The daffodils at Harrison Park look as if they will be fine, too. Roll on spring!
