The Edge of the Wold

By gladders

Puddle-wonderful

in Just-
spring when the world is mud-
luscious the little
lame balloonman

whistles far and wee

and eddieandbill come
running from marbles and
piracies and it's
spring

when the world is puddle-wonderful

'Just' by ee cummings

Well, it's nearly Spring: the robins, song thrushes and dunnocks are singing and snowdrops are flowering. Last night we found a queen wasp in our living room (now safely released in the garden shed from where she perhaps came when I carried in the logs for the fire).

Cropped slightly at the suggestion of VandeGraaff
