Monday 23 January 2012: Bless Us All
I passed this outdoor shrine on my way to the pharmacy, and I figured what the heck, we all need a little help today. The painting, on canvas, is a good six feet tall, and has been out there in someone's front yard with all the lights and plastic flowers for years. Every once in awhile there is a new something added to the mix. Right off camera there is an array of overflowing trash cans and broken lawn furniture, but La Virgen de Guadalupe shines on. As my friend B says, "In Guad we trust."
