Monday 23 January 2012: All tied up
At 4pm yesterday, two good friends of mine touched down at Edinburgh airport. I had last seen then in early September 2011, as I waved farewell in Munich having spent a week with them climbing mountains and having fun.
One of the things that they brought amongst their overloaded hold luggage was this surprise package. Can you tell from the traditional bindings that Seb, in particular, appreciates beautiful design?
Now waiting to be hung on a wall nail is a personalised calendar with photos from last summer, and the spring before (when they were last in Scotland visiting James and I).
