Bayon

We returned to the temples today by Tuk Tuk. This is a much cheaper way to visit and more fun. Boys O&H loved riding in the open Tuk Tuk!

Sunrise this morning at Angkor Wat was overcast and didn't present the rose colored sky of post cards but was beautiful none the less.

After another wander around the temple to look at some of the bas relief carvings we headed back to Bayon (the central temple of Angkor Thom). This is filled with massive towers carved with Buddha faces (apparently looking a lot like the reigning monarch of the time!).

Following Bayon we wandered around the Elephant Terrace and the Palace of the Leper King. Amazing.
