Quivering, pure and fragile
Against the winter browns,
Inspite of brittle earth,
And unkind frost
I watch you grow.
Inspired by your resilience,
Your persistence,
And innocent insistence
To be alive.
This is your time.
You shyly drop your head
With coy humility,
Needless timidity.
Your cameo brief
But beautiful.
