Tuesday 24 January 2012: Vogue... Strike a Pose...

Lordy Lord - what a day :-0

Talk about pulling your hair out - except I'm starting to thin already!
Was only five minutes after leaving the house this morning and suddenly realised NOOOOOOOOO my loan camera was sitting on the arm of the chair from last night!! Oh Lordy Lord I thought to myself? Oh well, I have my trusty fuji compact in my bag - that'll do. So onwards I travelled and picked up a colleague (as we car share) and into work we go.

At 10:30 ish RING RING (Yep the olde phone ring, caller display "BOSS") I answer very posh as one does when it's the boss (lol) "Richard, I'll be down soon as I need a new corporate photo" - I stuttered and coughed and managed to say without nervous tones, I only have my compact. Fine she says? So I then went on to say - OK at least I can work on it on home tonight and I'll email it when I'm back in the office tomorrow. Reply was "No, I need to email it today!" OK I whimpered ?

So to the rescue - I text my Sis "Help"

Helen (best Sister in the world) brings me my loan camera and my laptop - phew - just in the nick of time?. I took a few snaps and we agreed which one was to be used. So after a few wrinkle disappearing tricks, teeth whitened, a few highlights and a glow - hey presto this image is ready for Vogue! The boss was pleased to say the least?

Then I remembered - It was only a few weeks ago when the boss discovered my interest in photography and know here I am the residents photographer. Can't complain, gives me great experience and exposure!

Today the new floral arrangements arrived for the reception area and here I present my version of them! As you can see - I do like playing with photoshop! One day I may surprise you all and post a normal photograph lol?

Hope you all have had a SUPER SMASHING GREAT DAY!

Sorry I haven't responded today - I promise to catch up tomorrow
