Wednesday 25 January 2012: Clarke's Basin
This was originally the end of the Leeds - Liverpool Canal and these offices were built to administer the comings and going of boats on the canal. The basin has long since gone, but the buildings survive as the White Bar at the Radisson.
They had a lucky escape, though.
