Thursday 26 January 2012: Ghost of a ring dove

We occasionally get birds trying to fly through the window and across the kitchen and out of the opposite window. This is the image of a ring dove; fortunately it recovered unharmed. Usually the window is so dirty that it's opaque but the cleaning zeal had taken hold to enable a better view of the birds feeding!
