Bushy the biker

Being a keen off-road biker, Mr S loves to go on these outings, and this morning is no exception.

A trip has been organized by the local BMW agency and about 40 bikers will take part in this outing that will take them through indigenous forests, all gravel road. (Bikers with other makes of bikes also join in).

This is not an endurance trip with a difficulty factor attached, it is more or less for pleasure, and they were even encouraged to take a pillion passenger along.

They will enter this route at a place called Timberlake, close to Sedgefield/Knysna
from where they will explore lesser traveled gravel roads through Forests.

The total round trip distance from Timberlake and back will be approx 175 kms and take about 5hours of relaxed riding to complete.

Mr S has a biker friend, Ivor, 81 years of age, who usually joins in: at the moment Ivor is abroad, but will soon join the troupe again.

They are busy planning a trip to the Victoria Waterfalls in Zambia for the end of August. Due to the political unrest in Zimbabwe, they will be travelling through neighbouring countries. Yes, and Ivor will join them.
