Friday 27 January 2012: Wise old owl

Although I've had a good day and got a lot of work done, it's been a trying day all in all. Ant's had some bad news from another big customer - not because he's been ill this time, but because they are having some flood defence work done, which means that the gardens may not need tending again until November. It's another blow to his business. All options are being considered.

Trying to find a positive note for my blip, I've got nothing urgent to do until Monday, so I have a whole weekend off. Yup, you read that right, two days with nothing work related to do. We may pop over to see my parents at some point, but apart from that it's going to be a quiet and relaxing one.

I took a few quick photos of this old tape measure. It used to be Ant's mum's, but now he has it, although it sits on my desk in the office. We could do with some help from a wise old owl at the moment.
