"ring, ring" (telephone rings)
DawgGal: "hello"
KoLalaBear: "hi, it's me. we're closing in a few minutes and someone just brought this wee pup in. too little to stay here ..."
D: "what is it?"
K: "it's a wee girl, she's very cute, about 4 weeks old and you know how hard it is to find a foster home on such short notice ..."
D: "I'll have to consult the others ..." (goes to ask Ol'Dawg - somewhere in the garden, next ThaiKneeDawg - sleeping, next BebehDawg - can I get out the bath now?, next Hubster - go on, let's do it (sighs)
D: "we'll do it"
K: "you are of course under no obligation to do this"
