AFTER SUNSHINE, AFTER SNOW,

there comes a day grey as high clouds in the sky always perform.
On the ground I find the leaves of garden holyhock. I put them on the marmer table and see the different faces in them, a head of a dog, the bird's beck, the masks.
After the walk downhill to buy some food, I have to choose, Piet Hein guides me. Mischa will come later in the day by train from Holland. Hopefully all the connections will be ok.

My haiku:

The song of the birds
Requires the spring to hurry
But ice is foretold

And the proverb:

When it cracks, it bears; when it bends, it breaks.
