Tilting at windmills

Don Quixote and Sancho Panza.

You saw my dad's hands in yestrdays blip (thanks for all the nice comments). Here is a sculpture he made on one of his favourite themes. He has captured the wistfulness of Don Quixote looking off into the distance and the relaxed recumbent Sancha Panza, sleeping off lunch, behind him.

Not sure I have really done it justice, but I like the effect of the shadows created by the morning sun, shining weakly through the trees outside.
