Saturday 28 January 2012: Winter Leaf.
Woke to a frosty morning but as we'd had rain recently Miss Flum and I decided to see whether the pond was filling.
Well, no, there isn't any water in it BUT the channel that the contractor cut was showing distinct signs of flow. In the silty base there were fresh bird and animal footprints (not sure what), so something is working but there's still a way to go before we have our pond.
We then walked down through the park where the frost was much in evidence.
