Saturday 28 January 2012: Back In 1980
On this day in 1980 I arrived in Shetland for a four to five year stint. (I think I mis-heard and it was forty-five!) Despite being given 3 opportunities to move I'm still here and don't regret anything.
On days like this the South Mainland of Shetland takes some beating with Spiggie Loch here or the old favourite of St Ninians Isle taking pride of place as my favourite parts of the Island.
