Saturday 28 January 2012: Long tailed tit

A fairly rare winter stopover this long tailed tit.
An effect of the mild weather we have had. We had three visiting for early breakfast this morning. Not the best of shots but it proves that this species is around and about.

This weekend is bird watch weekend so if you can spend an hour spotting bird varieties that visit your garden; log on to the RSPB web and follow the instructions.
