Saturday 28 January 2012: Busy busy busy

A busy day even by our standards. I had the pleasure of interviewing one of our ministers for the position of lead minister at our church today. All a bit crackers as she has been at the church for 16 years! She's a really good friend of mine and I know she was nervous about today, but honestly she was so articulate and outstandingly brilliant you really wouldn't want anyone else to lead the church, however its a sensitive subject and we deacons must remain neutral throughout.

While I was busy grilling her about how she would juggle family life with church commitments, Si had another four appointments to view the house! We also got an offer but it was too low so we had to reject it.

The Boys had been round to play at a friends house so we all ended up there after our various commitments where they fed us bacon butties and then we decided to head up Beamsley Beacon. So cross with myself though as I grabbed the big camera without checking whether I'd put the memory card back in! So the views were left uncaptured which really was a bit of a shame as there was a light dusting of snow around and beautiful blue skies.

This is one of the buildings associated with the Catholic church in Skipton. I'm not sure if they use it but I think its a lovely building.

Righty ho off to watch something brainless I think ;-)

PS I don't like the crop but I was a bit stuck as it was a quick blip as I ran to the interview this am and didn't set it up properly. doh
