Through shophouses

I had a bit of town walk this morning. It got brighter and hotter, and walking through shophouses helped me escape from the strong sunshine. It was quite early and not many of them were open.

A shophouse includes a shop (or an eating place) on the ground floor and residential space upstairs. They look lovely and have a lot of character.
