Arrivada

After my midnight till dawn patrol shift this morning, we were privileged enough to witness the Arrivada. An event unique to Playa Ostional where scores of Olive Ridley sea turtles come ashore to lay their eggs at the same time. We were so lucky that it happened close to dawn, so I could take some photos without a flash, which would disturb them.
