Sunday 29 January 2012: Over the rainbows
This is an unusual photo for several reasons:
-- I'm usually not up before sunrise in the winter
-- Rainbows are not awfully common here, at least that I can see in the city
-- Rainbows at sunrise are a double treat -- double rainbows at sunrise are a quadruple treat!
I was sitting in the living room sipping my coffee and noticed a certain glow to the sky out the front window. I thought I might get a nice sunrise shot in the back yard -- the morning glow on the walnut trees is sometimes spectacular. Then I noticed the rainbow. Then I noticed the double rainbow! What a lovely way to start my day. And I don't have to wonder all day about what I'm going to blip!
