A Day Out For Annie

My blipmate Annie told me, earlier this week, that on that fateful day in May she had been aiming to get to this place, Grange-in-Borrowdale, to see this bridge over the river Derwent.

My mind was made up to go there today and do her a blip of it. Believe it or not, I have never actually stopped the car here and got out until today. Inspite of all the rain the river was shallow in most parts spanned by two bridges. Knowing what I would want to do I wore my wellies. (kaybee will be surprised!)

It was nice of The Man and Chippy to pander to my whims, the weather was not very nice but we had a good day out, coming home along the far side of Derwent Water and getting good views of a lunatic snow-covered fells.
