Sunday 29 January 2012: How to make yourself into a sculpture...

702/365: ... get a load of pallet wrap... and wrap yourself up in it, all the while declaring (and this is key to the whole thing)... "I'M MAKING MYSELF INTO A SCULPTURE!!!"

Today has been a cracker of a day. Though I couldn't actually choose one single picture, so decided to combine a few (though I'd have photographed the whole day if I could and included that given half a chance). If I think about it for half a second I get a big ol' grin on my chops. In my rules of 'how things should be', acknowledging happy days when they come along is one of the very most importantest rules. If you can't boing with happiness when it's happening, it'll pass you by without being full-on tinglesome and lovely.

Today. I boinged.

This is the summary...

1. We went 'let's book a holiday!'
2. All of a sudden, we'd booked a holiday to Devon
3. Our holiday is in less than 2 weeks' time!
4. Maddy wrote a letter to our neighbours asking them to look after her cat
5. ... in her normal style and which made me splutter with laughter (see down there *points to the bottom of the blip*)
6. Felix made himself into a sculpture - well, why wouldn't you?
7. We picked veggies from the garden - and traipsed mud everywhere
8. ... and then soup-i-fied them to lovely deliciousness
9. Then went out to Wollaton Park without whingery
10. And watched the kids eyes go as big as saucers at the Natural History stuff
11. ... and then wear themselves out climbing trees ('the BEST tree in the world!', said Maddy)
12. Before seeing the stags and their fabulous antlers being all brilliant
13. Then watched Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
14. And had a yummy roast din dins

YAY!!!!

Today has been BRILLIANT!!!!!

PS HOLIDAY!!!!!
PPS Our first proper family holiday with just the four of us!
PPPS YAY!!!!! *does happy dance*
