Thursday 26 January 2012: 28. green space
everywhere i've been in texas seems to have quite a bit of green space - even smaller towns have quite a few city parks, and in fact, the otherwise horrible suburb i grew up in even has several very nice parks - one called river legacy that is a real gem.
fort worth has some of the best around. trinity park and the botanic gardens are two old favorites, and burnett park is where we often meet for rides. there are good ones sprinkled all over.
austin of course has another favorite for me - zilker. and mount bonnell, too. so many great views.
here is a city of fort worth parks truck i captured in trinity park before going to work.
