Ink of the Taniwha

Met Grayson and Rawiri Koai. Grayson is a mate of my sons Sam and James and lives with them in Sydney - he is over for s short visit and decided that he would extend his tattoo collection with a Taniwha.(tun- ee- fa) ...of course I had to go watch.....ooooo it looked painful -then again I am a wooooosee.
Maori legend has the Taniwha associated with tribal groups - each has it own protector/guardian and it is known to be the Guradian of the ancestrial canoes from Hawaiki - they are said to live in deep pools in rivers or dark caves or the sea.
Hope to have the finished product later.
