Sunday 29 January 2012: First Hike
Today we took Linden for his first hike. We went to Roxborough State Park, CO, a lower elevation park with some easy trails. When we arrived at the park we saw some people with cameras with large telephoto lenses and we realized they were photographing a bobcat... Linden must bring us good wildlife viewing luck: when I was pregnant, we hiked at Brainard Lake and saw three moose. We've been to both of these parks many times and never had such luck. We also saw deer today, which we usually see and look forward to at Roxborough. Linden fell asleep for most of the hike, but it was fun to get him out to the foothills.
