Monday 30 January 2012: 20 Euro Cent

Today has been a bit like Christmas.

The replacement power supply unit for my desktop turned up. It's very fancy and black, the cables come in their own little zipped bag which is a bit silly if you use them all.

My replacement bank card, the last one died suddenly.

My Amazon order of stuff came through, some new LED lights for the kitchen to replace the halogen ones. A classic Hammer horror film on DVD. Two new DECT phones. Best of all a Canon EF-60mm macro lens.

It was a bit late when we got in and had dinner but I had to try out the new lens. As I didn't have any shiny British coinage on my today (see dead bank card above) I had to make to with a shiny French coin instead.

I can see Macro photography becoming a really interesting indoor hobby.
