Tuesday 31 January 2012: Partner in birdwatching

I had promised myself no cat blips as there really are so many other things I could be filling my journal with. I hope you are impressed that I made it to the end of January considering that cat pictures and holiday snaps were all I took before I started coming here three months ago.

I present my first, of what I'm sure will be many, over the year :-) I have two cats so I have to at least balance out the portraits with one of my other little chum.

I had tried to get some pictures of birds this morning before I headed off to work. But didn't stand much of a chance as wherever I went my faithful companion Ronnie went too. Here he is perched on a high wall that has alarmingly good access to the branches of several trees that overhang. A family of blue tits live in the area and I could hear them tweeting excitedly from the very tops of the trees where they were safe from harm. Pretty sure they were mocking him, or me, or both :-)
