Tuesday 31 January 2012: Microbial action stations

Found this in the kitchen. A few days ago, OH put some tinned tomato sauce in a bowl and covered it with clingfilm. I guess the kitchen's fairly warm, and today the contents of the bowl developed into a new lifeform. It looks a lot like some kind of staph skin infection I had when I was about 9, which is nice to be reminded of ... :)
