Tuesday 31 January 2012: Carnethy
Today's photo is of a painting my father made several years ago for hubby's birthday. It's of Carnethy, one of the best known hills in the Pentlands. In less than two weeks there will be a hill race there called the Carnethy 5, which is about 6 miles long and takes in five tops in the Pentland Hills. There's about 2,500 feet of ascent. This year the online entries (550 places) were fully booked within 45 mins of opening.
Spent all of today inside, because I have a rotten cold that feels like flu. I really hope this clears up before 11th Feb!
