St.Clair Esplanade

Forecast gale force winds and heavy rain never eventuated but was evident in the high tide lashing the esplanade at St.Clair this morning when Mother and I indulged in our daily coffee. A cool 14C today too compared with 28C yesterday.

Note the wave damage to the centre stairs and ramp leading onto beach from esplanade. Bags of money, time and effort being thrown at the problem to no avail to date. There is no human effort that can beat into submission the power of nature. When will we learn to go with the flow??
