Friday 18 July 2008: Plain English Award
More splendid showers that left me soaked to the skin and (a few days later) with a lovely chesty cough, but it was worth it. The green wetness was so vibrant, and I spent a happy hour or so sploshing about in a waterlogged field with wagtails bobbing and yellowhammers flitting. Just after the rain had really pelted down and caught me out, I squelched past this sign. I was already taking time out, but it seemed appropriate to share with you all.
You heard the man.
