Bir Hakiem

Paris was bitterly cold again this morning, as we were due at the airport at lunchtime we headed straight for the local Metro station.

The Paris metro is a fantastic system, but the rolling stock seems to be quite old! They have pneumatic doors which spring open when the handle is turned and the impatient Parisians seem to like to pop the doors whilst the train is still arriving into the station, which is always a little disconcerting!

Home for a few days now and then back off to Barcelona on Monday - all good stuff!
