Hatchling's gauntlet.

We were on our way to excavate an old nest, where our three little friends from yesterday hatched from, to see why more didn't hatch, and we ran into this little one making its lonely way down to the waterline all by its self. I'm pretty sure it's another black turtle, like yesterday. Very strange to see one all on its own. I'm seeing far fewer hatchlings than I expected, but there's still plenty of evidence -tracks in the sand every morning.
