Friday 3 February 2012: Dynomite!
"He's a maniac, maniac...on the dance floor......" Sorry can't get the song out of my head...thinking about joining Ryder up for beginners ballet this year...wonder what his grandad will think of that? Eeeek.
Spent the morning at school...alone...watching my oldest child do tabloid sports, then took the younger two to the beach later in the afternoon. The beach today was emanating a 'thoughtful/contemplative/brooding/quiet-time' vibe...overcast with not a speck of wind...kind of creep, but a nice creepy. No one in site until we left. So often we come to this beach and there's either very few or no persons about, which kind of gives us the feeling of it being 'my/our' beach. I get that 'rude awakening' when we visit on an absolutely stunning day in the weekend or holidays...on those days every man, his dogs, children, cousins, uncles and surf boards have shown up and I can barely find a park on 'my' beach. How rude lol.
Was doing some black and whites of my baby girl lying over a stump, tossing sand in her hair and had decided on one of those when I 'played' around with this one....terribly overdone, makes the day seem a whole lot better than it is, but I kind of like the halo around Ryder and the wood fire, makes them seem like they're actually superimposed on the scenery instead of actually being there.
