Friday 3 February 2012: Fractal cactal
Went to visit the cacti, alpine plants and bare trees at Winterbourne Gardens today, on my 5th day of "leisure". Five days already, really? That has gone more quickly than I expected now that I think of it in that way. Strange seeing a whole world I don't usually see - the High Street full of retired people, the tea shops frequented by "silver surfers", and of course, multitudes of mums ... two and a bit weeks to go till I join them properly. If we are on time, of course.
