Friday 3 February 2012: Amber Warning!
Well my original plan was to blip this to take up the challenge from Earthdreamer. It's taken from other side of his looking down on the valley. However I couldn't resist this photo of the heather burning that's been taking place today. Perfect conditions, dry, still and cold.
I have good news! All the complaints about Emmerdale ruining the track to the Cow and Calf have been heard and they have now donated £2,000 which is going to be used to restore a path down to the tarn from the rocks. Greatly needed (plus it's the path to my flat, excellent!)
Snow forecast for tomorrow, so dig out those sledges!!
