Friday 3 February 2012: Roses and bowl
The connection between the roses and the bowl is Australia! The roses where given to us last weekend by a friend visiting from Perth, Australia and the wooden bowl comes from Daintree Forest in Queensland. We brought this back (it weights a ton!) when we had a family holiday in Australia in 1999.
Back at work today which was good, but took the bus (not the bike) and looked on enviously at the cyclists whizzing past the stationery traffic. Hope I can get back to running in time for the Carnethy 5.
