Friday 3 February 2012: Ball of fire

We've had a really lovely day today. After a long lie-in with no alarm going off, we went over to see our friend Kim. About six weeks ago, Kim and her hubby Adam adopted a rescue greyhound, and although Ant's met her before, it was my first time. Oh my goodness, Lilly is just adorable, as you can see in my Blipfolio! It was nice to spend some time with Kim, and the three of us talked for England for a good while and took Lilly out for a walk.

After leaving Kim and Lilly, we headed back over to my parents for the third time in less than a week. We wanted to pick up the wireless access point from Dad's malfunctioning network so that Ant can try and work out where the problem lies. On the way to their village, we stopped off in Godmanchester so I could take some photos of the river and mill pond. I was pretty convinced that I'd got today's blip and was already thinking about what I'd tell you about the historic Roman town, but I'll have to save that blurb for another day, as the photo was also relegated to my Blipfolio when I noticed the sun as we were leaving for home. I got Ant to pull Bertie over so I could take some photos and this was our favourite. I'm still really torn between this and the mill pond though!
