Friday 3 February 2012: A really poor photo....
....but it was a quick snap before she left.
Jo, my 16 year old is doing a sponsored sleepout tonight in aid of GEAR our local homeless centre. The aim is to raise awareness & funds for this valuable resource.
Her biggest problem is going to be keeping the -7c frost at bay.... it's freezing out there!!!!! She is with most of our church youth group and a few brave grown ups, God help whoever sleeps next to her, she snores like a good 'un!!!
'We' ( the royal we, I'm sat here at home in the warm) have adults going in making hot chocolate at 11pm and other adults keeping an eye out for them throughout the night and if things get too bad they can always de-camp to the church hall....
... I'm aiming to get an early 5am blip tomorrow when I go up to defrost collect her!
