Along Whatcom Creek

What an exquisite day it was today! The sun shone and it was brisk but not too cold. Our friends from Vancouver came down to pick up their mail. DJ brought the three kids and we all had a long walk in Whatcom Falls Park. Steve came along too. Arvin stayed home because he had some things he wanted to do. The rest of us walked our usual three mile loop past Scudder Pond, down the side trail to the bridge, over the new bridge and along the large trail to Derby Pond, over to the big falls, across the old stone bridge, along the other side back to Scudder Pond and home. This is the view on our way back up the other side of the creek. Check it out large size. I love this walk. And it's even more fun with kids along.
