Saturday 4 February 2012: TIPAPA HOMESTEAD
Today I have been one of a team of photographers photographing the Acton Adams Family Reunion at Tipapa
Cradled in the rolling hills of North Canterbury is Tipapa, an oasis of privacy surrounded by 500 acres of its own land and parklike grounds.
The estate was once part of a 10,000-acre sheep station established in the grand manner of the times by William Acton-Adams, a well-known lawyer and financier, in 1888.
The current and magnificent Tipapa homestead was completed by William's son Herbert Acton-Adams, in 1928.
