Abbreviation for Ursa minor, the little bear.
Not only does she look bearlike at times, (will try to photograph that a little more effectively than this one,) but she has a bear like approach to life, pouncing and taking on critters and people by the leg, or throat if we can get it. In the nicest possible way , of course.
So therefor - Umi
