Sunday 5 February 2012: An icy Sunday.
A beautiful sunny day, but bitterly cold, when we went for a walk in the park this morning. There was only a light covering of snow, but everything was frozen, including most of the park lake. The centre had managed to stay ice free, and all the birds were gathered there. They had just been fed when we got there ,so they were being well cared for, in this freezing weather.
